Dombivli :- In a powerful display of community service and fellowship, the Rotary Club of Dombivli Winners organized a high-impact joint meeting on February 24th at Shubham Banquets. Under the leadership of President Bobby Pinto and Secretary Ujwal Thombre, whose dedicated efforts and meticulous planning ensured the event's resounding success, the evening blended vital medical education with organizational growth.
Empowering Life-Savers: CPR Training
The core agenda of the meeting focused on the life-saving skill of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). To ensure practical proficiency, Dr. Jain and his professional medical team, alongside Mr. Abhay Singh and three colleagues, conducted an intensive educational session.
Rotarians participated in hands-on demonstrations, learning the exact techniques and chest compression rhythms necessary to sustain life during cardiac emergencies. This session equipped attendees to act as confident first-responders in their neighborhoods.
Strategic Growth: "Each One, Bring One"
The meeting was graced by District Dignitary Rtn. Mehul Gor, who shared a visionary roadmap for the club’s future. During his address, Rtn. Mehul highlighted that District Governor (DG) Harsh Makol has set a high-ambition goal to enroll 500 new members during the current "Membership Month," which runs from February 14th to March 15th, 2026.
Rtn. Mehul provided three expert tips on effectively growing club strength. Inspired by this vision, the members of the Dombivli Winners embraced the slogan "Each One, Bring One," with 10 members immediately committing to inducting at least one new member each during this month-long drive.
Celebrating 121 Years of Rotary Global Impact
The evening also marked the 121st Birth Anniversary of Rotary International. To celebrate this historic milestone, President Bobby Pinto invited Rtn. Mrutunjay Pandey, President of the Rotary Club of Dombivli North, to co-host the meeting. Members from both clubs joined for a ceremonial cake-cutting, reinforcing the bond between the Winners and North chapters.
Honoring Local Excellence
Recognizing the power of youth achievement, the club felicitated two local stars:
Mr. Tejas Salian: For his phenomenal achievement in securing the 20th Rank in all of India in the recent CA Final Examinations.
Cadet Sergeant Mrunal Patole: For the prestigious honor of representing Maharashtra in the Republic Day Parade at the Red Fort on January 26th.
The successful meeting concluded with a warm vote of thanks delivered by Ajinkya Ambedkar of the Rotary Club of Dombivli North, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, trainers, and members who contributed to the evening's success.
